Data Removal Instructions

At Vela Finance, your privacy is our priority. If you wish to stop using our service and permanently delete all your data from our systems, you can easily submit a Data Deletion Request.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your data in one of two ways:

Option A: Via WhatsApp (Fastest)

Send the exact phrase "DELETE MY DATA" to our official Vela Finance WhatsApp number from the phone number registered with your account.

Our system will acknowledge the request and permanently delete your ledger, message history, and phone number from our active databases.

Option B: Via Email

Send an email to privacy@velafinance.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

In the body of the email, please include the phone number (with country code) that is linked to your Vela Finance account. We will process your request and confirm via email once your data has been purged.

What gets deleted?

When your data removal request is processed, we will permanently delete:

  • Your phone number and WhatsApp profile name.
  • All your recorded financial transactions (your ledger).
  • All text, audio, and image messages previously sent to the bot.
  • Your workspace and category configurations.

Important Note

Data deletion is irreversible. Once processed, your ledger cannot be recovered. We recommend downloading a report of your finances before requesting deletion if you wish to keep a backup.
